Guillotine Door

The door is of “guillotine” type and lifts up as shown in the picture.  A mechanical structure made of strong profiles in galvanized steel allows the door to slide up and down along vertical rails. A hoisting equipment guarantees the electrical lifting driven through a button panel placed closed to the door.  During manoeuvres, an acoustic lighting signal is activated. A braking system gives the door a mechanical security in compliance with safety norms. 

Sliding Door

The doors are to slide. An appropriate translator trolley, produced with strong steel profiles, provides to the hydraulic lifting and the shifting of the door along the rails. The system is realised with a servomechanism and a special device that provides the closing and the supporting of the door. This system is optimal when you have several Kilns in a row.

This solution is optimal if you want to save space, the sliding door in fact turn at 90 ° on one side and rests on the side of the kiln.

Hinged Door

Perfect positioning of main door is ensured by special adjustable hinges, made of stainless steel and brass, designed on purpose to fit our drying kilns and steamers. On each main door, there are at least 2 hinges, additional to middle doors linking hinges.

Software for the control of heat treatment phase in accordance with the norm ISPM 15 for the sterilization of wood during 30 minutes at 56°C. The system includes 8 probes for detecting timber temperature. The software enables to store the process data and create a report fully complying with the norm specifications.

Efficiency 15-20%

Each pair of vents is joined by an aluminium canalization! The canalization can be lined by acoustic / thermal insulating material.  An air/air heat exchanger made of aluminium is installed inside this canalization allowing hot wet air and fresh cold air to cross. The heat exchanger is designed in order to exploit as much as possible the exchange of heat of hot air flowing out of the kiln and transfer as much energy as possible to the fresh air flowing in.

This software allows to register the consumption of electrical Energy through the frequency converter. Furthermore, it allows also to detect the thermal consumption, if the customer installs the necessary equipment to count the heating fluid and /or fuel flow. Another part of the programme enables to add the current prices of Energy / fuel and then calculate the real cost, even considering different fees according to time. The obtained information can then put in relation, cycle by cycle, with the outside weather conditions if an outer temperature probe is used.
